For Milan Fashion Week, Loro Piana presents their Fall Winter 2023-2024 Men’s and Women’s collections in the center of the city, Via Tommaso Grossi 10, allowing the brand to execute a series of installations relevant to the adventurous theme of their collection. Until Feb. 27, the newsstand in Via dei Giardini and the courtyard of Loro Piana in Via Montenapoleone have been turned into a café that invites mixologists to create and serve drinks with ingredients from Peru, New Zealand, Australia, and Mongolia. These are the same countries that harvest the fibers Loro Piana uses to create their garments, and it is these regions that the Fall Winter 2023-2024 collection pays respects to.

Loro Piana regards themselves as a house of sensations, defining outdoor experiences in life as true luxury, whether those experiences happen in metropolitan cities or the natural landscape. Their latest women’s collection consists of flowy silhouettes and feminine shapes that meet masculine sharp lines, creating an almost equestrian-adjacent feel with dimmed prints and firm textures. Tailoring and outerwear is inspired by horse-riding apparel, while coats have a full proportion and trousers run from full at the top to narrow at the bottom. Peru inspires muted, deep tones, New Zealand natural browns and grays, Australian references are found in oversized jerseys while shearlings and chunky knit is attributed to Mongolia. This collection is an appreciation of craftsmanship with an array of textiles: cashmere, silk, linen, and vicuña.
